What is the first thing that comes out in your mind when you hear about Boracay? Probably your answer will be paradise, party place, powdery white sand, best holiday destination and of course a perfect place for honeymooners. A lot of verb can describe how beautiful Boracay is and I must agree with you. Boracay is indeed a place to celebrate life, love, relationships and beyond.

The beauty of Boracay

I once dream of spending my first Boracay get-away with someone special. Someone I can walk holding hands with in the long stretchy powdery sand along Station 1, breathing in the fresh air together while playing like kids in the sand and savoring the blue green water. We will spend our afternoon naps in the beach front while nipping our individual choice of Jonah’s Shake. We will sail away aboard in the Paraw boats in Station 3 while loving the perfect sunset view in the shore.  Isn’t it ideal? Isn’t it romantic? But that vision was long time ago. On that time I was still in love. On that time I still live with the “ideals”. Someone smashed that dream right infront of my face.

Partying at night in the various bars in Station 2 will be enjoyable with a group of friends. After our long day  spent from Island Hopping, Snorkeling, ATV/Buggy ride in Mt. Luho, Helmet Diving and Parasailing we will then sluice our arid throats with long island iced tea in Summer Place. We will then dance our night away in Guilly’s Island. Wouldn’t it be fun? Wouldn’t it be an ultimate summer escape?

Some activities in Boracay

Relationships either be romantic or platonic can be outgrown in the flashing attractions and natural beauty of Boracay or it can end as that. My romantic dream in the paradise was once gone but I am hopeful that someday at the right time, it will be retorted. I am not afraid to embrace love once again and together we will make my ideal dream vacation on the ideal paradise come true.

Friendship can be cultivated or better be left behind. Afterall, Mark Twain was right in saying that: “I have found out that there ain’t no surer way to find out whether you like people or hate them than to travel with them”. With the series of events  we’ve gone through as “friends”, I guess it is about time to left it as it is. And that happened in Boracay.

Various incidents happened and will happen in our continues journey in life. I set some ideals. I failed in some aspect but all of these won’t stop me in appreciating and bragging how wonderful it is to spend time in Boracay. To astoundingly appreciate life, love and relationship accompanied with the natural beauty of this paradise.
